Oedema is one of the cause of cellulite; thus, active principles which reabsorb oedemas are of great use to treat this condition. Ivy saponins have demonstrated anti-elastase and anti-hyaluronidase activities, useful for the protection and for the treatment of vein insufficiency. Ivy is also known for its high silicium content thus supporting collagen synthesis.
